1994: The Rolling Stones broadcast a 20-minute segment of their show in Dallas live over the Internet. They are the first major band to do so.


1995: Actor Tony Randall marries Heather Harlan, an understudy in one of his plays. He is 75, she 25.


2000: Actor Michael Douglas marries actress Catherine Zeta-Jones in New York.


2001: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone opens nationwide. It brings in a record $90 million its first weekend.
